Here’s a new challenge for those who like to live life dangerously and on the edge. Available on Day 1 with the release of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma, players all over the world will be able to take on the Ur-Dragon, a powerful beast that lies waiting in Everfall beneath Grand Soren. Requiring huge amounts of damage and multiple encounters to take down, players and other pawns (or other players) will work together and compete to see who takes down the legendary creature the fastest. Players who deal the last blow will reap the maximum reward, but all players will receive the common and rare items the dragon when they do damage.

In addition, offline players will also be able to take on the fabled dragon alone, but they will be getting different rewards for their success. Nevertheless, any player who manages to take down the dragon will be submitted to an online leaderboard which displays the time taken to defeat the creature, so that others may try to best the record.
