Former 3DS-exclusive Resident Evil Revelations  will be coming to consoles in May, but it won’t be just a port. Capcom has recently announced that the game will be packing additions, like the all-new Infernal Mode.

Infernal Mode is – just as the name suggests – a new difficulty mode aimed at challenging new players and old. It will shift enemy and item placement, as well as being more difficult than normal.

A new trailer has been released highlighting the new difficulty mode. Keep an eye out for a new enemy type called the Wall Blister, as well, which will appear near the end of the trailer:

Resident Evil Revelations will be available for the PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on May 21, 2013.
