February 11, 2014:
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360) – $59.99
The last entry (hopefully!) in the FFXIII trilogy, this one has protagonist Lightning trying to save the world before it ends. New features are the ability to change Lightning’s classes on the fly, open environments that you can explore, and more. Now, who wants to find out how it all ends?
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (PS Vita) – $39.99
The latest visual novel/mystery adventure game to hit stateside, Danganronpa is about a young man who is trapped in Hope’s Peak Academy with 14 other students and must play a dangerous game. In order to escape their confinements, students must kill another and not get caught, but if they do, they’ll suffer a worse fate than their victims. If you love good old mysteries and crazy plots, you might want yo check this one out.
Toukiden: The Age of Demons (PS Vita) – $39.99
We might have a Monster Hunter killer in our hands. Toukiden places players in the shoes of a demon slayer who must hunt down the evil Oni before they overrun the world. Featuring heavy customization, deep combat systems, four-player hunting action, and great visuals, this might become the Vita’s next killer app. Did I mention the guys who did Dynasty Warriors are behind this?
One Piece: Romance Dawn (3DS) – $39.99
If you follow anime or manga, then you might know about the pirate Luffy and his ragtag group of loveable misfits. If you don’t, then this is about a boy who eats a mysterious fruit and becomes rubbery, which allows him to kick all sorts of butt. Romance Dawn is a RPG based on the series, so if you want to see how the story develops while kicking butt in turn-based battles, then you might want to grab this.
