New Releases Oct. 8 – 9

KK

Here’s a heads up for all of you folks looking for some new (or old) to play.

October 8:

  • Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360) – $59.99

This release of Gearbox Software’s first-person shooter brings together all of the DLC so far, including the main gameCaptain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty; Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage; Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt; Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep; Creature Slaughter Dome; Premiere Club Content: Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class; Gearbox Gun Pack; Golden Key; Vault Hunter’s Relic; Krieg, the Psycho Character Class; Collector’s Edition Heads and Skins; Contraband Sky Rocket Grenade; and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1.

That’s a lot of DLC.

October 9:

  • Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness (PS3) – $49.99

The latest entry in the long running Strategy RPG series brings forth the same signature gameplay and wackiness while adding new features, like mountable monsters and geo panels. You can check out our review here.

  • Knock Knock (PC) – $7.99 on GoG.com

This indie game has been out for a couple of days actually, but due to a timed special on GOG.com, I’m listing it. In Knock-Knock, you play as the Lodger, a man who’s trapping inside a house and must protect himself from ghosts and other beings who are trying to get inside. You must survive until dawn, so you’ll have to explore the decrepit home and repair holes in order to live another day. It’s creepy stuff.
