Capcom has announced that a new demo of their highly anticipated upcoming title Resident Evil 6 will hit PSN and Xbox LIVE on September 18. 2012.  The demo will showcase three different campaigns in the game and will feature online co-op as well.

The game’s three arcs will have you playing as Leon Kennedy and Helena Harper throughout a bio-terror attack on Ivy University, Jake Muller and Sherry Berkin on the streets of Lanshiang fighting off the dead J’avo, and lastly Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans in war-torn Edonia where you will be surprised by a 3-story tall fiend.

The first demo that appeared on the Xbox 360 as a bonus to owners of Dragon’s Dogma will be made available for PS3 players of the same title after September 5 through token redemption.  Resident Evil 6 will release on October 2, 2012 on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC version to follow soon afterwards.
