For those of you who don’t know, Rise of the Triad is a first-person shooter that was released in 1995. In it, you can choose to play as one of five different characters, each possessing unique attributes such as height, speed, and endurance.

But why are we talking about this classic? Last week, during Quakecon 2012, it was announced than an HD remake of Rise of the Triad is being developed as we speak, featuring a full single-player campaign, a fully featured multiplayer experience and much more.
