Remember Rebellion’s comic book third-person shooter Rogue Trooper? The developer has revealed that an updated version of the game – titled Rogue Trooper Redux, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Originally released on the PC, PS2 and Xbox back in 2006, Rogue Trooper was based on a 2000 AD comic about a future where wars were fought using blue-colored clones with personality chips in their heads. When Rogue is the last surviving G.I. (Genetic Infantryman) after a suprise attack, he must fight to survive being behind enemy lines.
The remastered version of the game is being developed in partership with TickTock Games. It’s personally one of my favorite shooters from back in the day, so as long as it plays like I remember, I can’t wait to try out the new version.
Rogue Trooper Redux currently has no release date.
