A German game that’s two years old may not sound like big news around here, but you’d be wrong in this case.
The Book of Unwritten Tales is a new — well, new to the rest of the world — point-and-click adventure game from King Art /Nordic Games that has enjoyed plenty of success, and has now been localized to many different languages so people all over can enjoy the gem.
Take a peek at the video below:
You can find the demo here, or find it on Steam, GOG.com, GameStop PC Downloads, GameFly, or myriad other services. It’s going to cost you $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 / 299 Rubles (Russia only) for the Standard Edition, and $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 / 349 Rubles for the Digital Deluxe Edition. What makes that digital edition so deluxe, you might ask? Well you’ll get the game (duh), a 22-song soundtrack, a gorgeous 47-page making-of booklet and a short video about the making of a character.
I’m delighted to see such a good game getting a bit more recognition, as well as faithful localization. How about you?
